On October 1, the Lay Carmelites of the Province of St. Joseph celebrated the feastday of St. Therese of the Child Jesus together with the faithful at the Minor Basilica-Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Malolos, Bulacan. They marked the feast with a triduum from Sept. 28 to 30 with novena and Holy Mass in the afternoon. An exhibit was also put up from Sept. 29 - Oct. 7 to highlight the feast. Roses were blessed and given away to the faithful on October 1 and the relic of St. Therese from the Carmel of Lisieux was also exposed for public veneration.
