On January 25, 2013, the Lay Carmelite Community of St. Teresa Margaret Redi was canonically established at the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart, San Antonio Village, Makati City. The Rite of Canonical Establishment was presided by Rev. Fr. Toto Jaranilla, OCarm. , former TOC National Spiritual Director, and together with the Rev. Fr. Victor Apacible, present rector of the shrine, and Msgr. Clem Ignacio, TOC, former shrine rector and parish priest of Quiapo Church.
Rites of Temporary and Final Profession was also celebrated on the said date. The celebration was attended by the communities of Sta. Ana, Tondo, and Makati which comprises the Province of St. Mary Magdalene de Pazzi.
